As a parent of 3 boys I know only too well how challenging it is juggling work, kids, running a household... and everything else life throws at you! People often ask me how I find the time or energy to exercise. My reply is that if I didn't, I simply wouldn't have the mental or physical strength to deal with everything else! Fitness is my therapy. That doesn't mean I don't find exercise hard at times! Anyone who has seen me leave a spinning class dripping with sweat will know I work mega hard! But I believe that if you find the right exercise programme to suit you and your lifestyle it will enhance your physical and emotional well-being. So the effort will be more worth it. I have 20 years experience in motivating people and supporting them with behaviour change, and I believe that getting to know people and really understanding their thinking and behaviour patterns are key to long term sustainable changes.
I am a registered member of CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute of Sport and Physical Activity) which means that I am committed to continuous professional development.
